Biafra: Ecowas Court Adjourns Kanu’s Hearing to Nov. 8.
There was a aura of excitement today, October 5th by Pro Biafra Supporters as The ECOWAS Court of Justice (Economic Community Of West African States) adjourned the Hearing on IPOB and Radio Biafra’s Director Nnamdi Kanu, Detained by the Nigerian Government since Last Year, to November 8.
The ECOWAS Court which was expected to be siting today, was reportedly adjourned as a result of the unavoidable absence of the defendant representing the Federal republic of Nigeria. The court made up of a 3-man panel of judges led by Justice Nwoke reassured the Pro Biafra Group of Giving its final ruling on November 8, 2016 even if the Defendant of the FG is absent.
Justice Nwoke also billed the Nigerian government to compensate Barr Ejiofor (Representing Nnamdi Kanu) with the sum of one million naira for flying from Lagos to Abuja for the case which their action made a failure.
