President Muhammadu Buhari, Friday, appointed Mr Tunde Lemo, a former CBN Deputy Governor as the new Chairman of the Board of Federal Roads Maintenance Agency, FERMA. Read Tunde Lemo Profile / Bio Below.
In a statement by the Assistant Director (Press) in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mohammed Nakorji, the President also approved the appointments of the board’s members.
Names of All New FERMA Appointees
The board members, according to the statement, are – Nurudeen Rafindadi; Buba Abdullahi; Babagana Aji; Shehu Abdullahi and Loretta Aniagolu.
Others are Mujaidu Dako; Vincent Kolawole; Chukwunwike Uzo; Olubunmi Siyanbola; Abdulrazak Ma’aji; Saidu Abdulkadir and Peter Osawe.
However, the appointments are subject to the confirmation of the Senate.

Profile / Biography of Tunde Lemo – New FERMA Chairman
Mr Lemo has a wealth of experience in Banking and management.
He served as the Group Managing Director of Wema Bank Plc from 2000 to 2004.
Mr. Lemo has been Chairman of Abuja Securities & Commodity Exchange Plc since January 2, 2004 and served as its Director.
In May 2017, He was became a Non Executive Director of Africa Finance Corporation.

In 2007, Mr Tunde was appointed Deputy Governor of Operations at the Central Bank.
He also served as the Deputy Governor of Financial Surveillance Sector.
In 2017, Mr Lemo was appointed chairman of the Federal Road Maintenance Agency, FEMA by the Muhammadu Buhari-led administration.
