Enugu sacks Police Commissioner Sacked over Herdsmen Attack.

The Enugu state Police, Mr  Ekechukwu Nwodibo has been sacked yesterday following a recent attack by suspected Fulani Herdsmen in the state.

The recent attack by Herdsmen which left up to 48 people dead and several properties destroyed has been condemned by various groups and individuals in the country. (see: Breaking: Scores Feared dead as fulani Herdsmen attack Enugu again ).

The violence has sparked demonstrations across Nigeria and in cities across the world. Many protesters are calling for President Buhari to take action against the Fulani herdsman suspects and protect the lives of Nigerian civilians.

According to an official statement released by the state, The sacked Enugu Police commissioner is being replaced by CP Emmanuel Ojukwu. The image is shown:
